A day between Dream and Reality
Sunday, May 28th – S. Cristina Estate, Peschiera del Garda

For the 13th consecutive year, on Sunday, May 28, Zenato opens the doors of its S. Cristina Estate, the heart of the company, in occasion of Cantine Aperte, the most important wine-touristic event in Italy, promoted by Movimento Turismo del Vino (Wine Tourism Movement).

Tastings of the most representative wines of the winery, coming from the most famous areas of production Lugana and Valpolicella Classica, along with gastronomic specialties of the territory, Taste Laboratories, guided tours of vineyards and cellar in a multisensorial journey that finds its highlight in the installation of the artist Cesare Benaglia. This sensational trip will lead the guests in an original and exciting discover of those values of beauty, authenticity, identity that you can find in Zenato wines and in the patrimony of their territory.

The tale of the winemakers, the emotion of walking through the vineyards, the discovery of the barrel cellar and the barrique cellar where the great labels of Zenato rest, but also passion, love and respect for nature meets stories of gastronomic realities imprinted in excellence. Together with the great wines of the company you will enjoy the Taste Laboratories with the sommelier Adua Villa, along with “Nodo d’amore and variations” with Nadia Pasquali from La Borsa Restaurant of Valeggio, who will show you the manual skills and creativity you need to prepare a typical dish like Tortellini; the traditional and renewed cheese refinements with Corrado Benedetti; anchovies from Cantabrian Sea and Pata Negra of the historical breeder Juan Pedro Domecq. In the afternoon a round table discussion will take place: “Wine-tourism: the emotion of a journey between authentic stories and riches of a territory”, featuring the president of Wine Tourism Movement, Carlo Pietrasanta.

The day is dedicated to solidarity with the aim to support Padre Michael Daniels’ missions in Guinea Bissau, all proceeds will be allocated to the project. In fact, we ask for a contribution to access to the Estate and to the workshops.
