Born from an extraordinary intuition, Ripassa is much more than a wine. It is a symbol of elegance, tradition and innovation, a benchmark in the Valpolicella landscape.
After Amarone’s fermentation, the finest selection of Valpolicella wine is repassed over its pomace, triggering a second fermentation that enhances structure, colour and aroma. It then ages in French oak for eighteen to twenty months before further refinement in bottle.
The result is a deep, velvety red with aromas of ripe red fruit, sweet spices and dark chocolate. On the palate, it is smooth and harmonious, with an enveloping roundness supported by vibrant freshness.
