Alberto 2017

A project born in 1997 when Alberto Zenato turned 30 years old. On that day he thought about creating a wine by making his own selection of grapes.

Since then, every ten years, Alberto Zenato chooses the best blend of grapes to express a territory of excellence to which he belongs to and to which he feels an ambassador to the world.

A Rosso del Veneto IGT, made from indigenous Corvina Veronese grapes grown in the Costalunga estate in Valpolicella Classica and from Merlot grapes an international variety, grown in the morainic hills of Lake Garda, where the family and the winery have their roots.

The grapes undergo a partial appassimento and the wine ages for two years in oak barrels. A distinctive an important wine of great structure, body, balance, fineness and elegance.
